Sacraments
As Protestants, we observe two sacraments: the Lord's Supper and Baptism. We practice "open" communion. The invitation to communion is extended to all who have been baptized. "Children who are being nurtured and instructed in the significance of the invitation to the Table and the meaning of their response are invited to receive the Lord's Supper."
We baptize both adults and children. Active members in a Christian church may present a child for baptism. Parents and the congregation share in the nurture of the child in order that he or she may make their own profession of faith in Jesus Christ.
