This is our story
We are an historic church in the center of Williamson County, dating from 1854. A vibrant family of believers of all ages, we are active in service to our congregation and in mission to the community. We are a friendly, Reformed church that welcomes everyone and is open to new opportunities.
Our historic sanctuary sits two blocks from Georgetown’s bustling square. Our church bell tolls over the city center as a reminder that God is ever with us.
Our worship is traditional in liturgy style and service sequence, following our Book of Order, complete with prayer of confession, affirmation of faith, hymnal music with organ and piano pieces, and robed pastor. Christian education is important as we offer a broad array of options for all ages, including several choices for adults, active children and youth programs including Wednesday program and choirs. Members may be as involved or uninvolved as they wish and still have that sense of being an important part of the congregation.
Together, we worship, fellowship, and take care of one another. We believe strongly in leadership development and training. We have a strong Stephen Ministry program, a parish nurse, and an outstanding and inspiring music program. Our congregation has a diverse mix of political orientations, but we are proud of our ability to listen to the needs of all with love, understanding, and compromise. Our staff of 15 full and part-time employees is outstanding and dedicated to serving our members and our mission. Most of all, the church values spiritual growth focusing on God and what it means to be Christian.
The Spirit is moving and working in our congregation.
We gather to worship God Sundays at 8:30 and 11 a.m. If you can’t be physically present with us you can catch the 11 a.m. service livestreaming on YouTube.
