“The Color of Compromise”
Sundays @ 9:40 AM
June 6-July 25
In-Person & Virtual

“The Color of Compromise” class will cover sections of two works by historian Jemar Tisby: The Color of Compromise: The Truth About the American Church’s Complicity in Racism (2019), a New York Times bestseller, and How to Fight Racism: Courageous Christianity and the Journey Toward Racial Justice (2021). Our survey of The Color of Compromise will be through videos, but for a deeper look into the material, you are welcome to order the book for your personal study. The FPC library will also have a few copies of both books beginning Wednesday, May 26 for members to check-out.

This class will be co-taught by Cliff Snyder, Karen Jones, Pastor Bobby, and Kathy Kubatzky, with breakout discussions facilitated by Phil and Dawn Bookert. It will be offered in-person at FPC with a Zoom option for those attending virtually. For information, please contact
