During April, we will continue to deepen our engagement with the scriptures, with each other and with our local ministries. Please consider stopping in for a Wednesday or two to have fellowship with the men studying John’s Gospel or the women in their Bible study who are considering Jewish holy feasts. Dive deeply with a Sunday School class—to discuss faith and headlines with Crossroads, to consider how to walk worthy of God’s call on our lives with Surveyors, to take a fresh look at the Heidelberg Catechism with Homebuilders, and to engage more deeply with our mission partners through the Adult Elective class offering. Details for all current offerings can be found HERE. There is no better way to stretch our faith during a time of isolation than to mark the seasons and stories of our faith with each other!
As we look forward to what God will do this year, please mark your calendars for two dates:
- April 11 – Our children will lead us in worship this month. Please be present virtually to meet God through this different experience of being led by the voices and examples of our youngest members.
- September 17-19—You don’t want to for- get these dates because these will be our ALL-CHURCH RETREAT dates if the creek don’t rise! (Or, more commonly, “If the Lord wills.”) Despite all of the chaos that we are now still navigating, we are moving forward to plan our retreat. More de- tails will be shared and registration opened in the next few weeks.
