Stephanie will talk about how the practice of spiritual direction can encourage us to befriend each other.
She received a master of music degree in collaborative piano from Baylor University in 2013 and a master of divinity degree from Truett Seminary at Baylor in 2014.
Stephanie grew up in the Midwest before going to Rocky Mountain College in Calgary, Canada, where she received a bachelor’s degree in piano performance.
She moved to Texas to enter seminary. After graduating, she served as associate pastor of youth and spiritual formation and pianist a a Baptist church in Hamilton, where she was ordained into the ministry in 2016. There she led deacons in monthly spiritual formation practices, preached, delivered sermon series meditations, led yearly youth volunteer retreats and accompanied church choirs.
