Sunday, JUNE 15 & 19
9:40 am | Sanctuary
Matthew 25 is an initiative of the PC(USA). Last year, the session formed a Matthew 25 Ad Hoc Committee to research the initiative and consider whether FPC Georgetown should join the initiative. That committee includes Dawn Bookert (Chair), Patsy Becker, Amber Cessac, Gary Cox, Karen Jones, Amy Pratt, Nancy Robohn, and Liz Weaver.
If you would like to learn more about the Matthew 25 Initiative and the committee’s work this past year, you can join the committee in the Sanctuary during the Sunday school hour on June 5 and June 19.
- June 5 will focus on “What is Matthew 25?” and “Dismantling Structural Racism” (one of the three initiatives of the program).
- June 19, will focus on the other two Matthew 254 initiatives, “Building Congregational Vitality” and “Eradicating Systemic Poverty.”
The session plans to vote on the Matthew 25 initiative at their stated meeting in June.
