New Advent Mission Project

Beginning November 13, through December 25, you will have the opportunity to participate in an Advent season mission project by “buying” items in the Presbyterian Giving Catalog as Christmas presents. (This project is replacing the Operation Christmas Child boxes)

Gifts to the catalog help feed the hungry, comfort the brokenhearted and share our faith.

During the Advent season, the Mission Committee will have a tree with 24 cards representing catalog gifts that you can select from to make a contribution. You can pay in cash, write a check to FPC or use a QR code to make your contribution.

Watch for the tree this month in the lobby. Selections available for giving will be on the wall leading from. The Gathering Place to the classrooms.

Come select a “giving card” from five categories in the catalog and help decorate the Christmas tree.

For $30, you can provide supplies for displaced students and give them an educational opportunity.

For $50, you can supply a sewing machine not just for use at home but also for a family in a
developing part of the world to start a business making and selling clothing.

You can supply a family with chickens for $25 to give them eggs for food and feathers for pillows.
