Before the gathering, if you create a lovely hat or Texas-style mum and submit your picture wearing it, you will be entered in a drawing for a fun handbag from the Guatemala Store. April 1 is the deadline for photo submissions, which should be emailed to SpringGathering2021@yahoo.com.

There will be festivities that weekend (including a virtual style show of hat and mum photos) and workshops (including one led by our own Nancy Robohn) to be enjoyed at the Zoom gathering. Contact me if you want more information about the schedule, workshop leaders or keynote speaker.

Here at FPC, circles will meet April 6 (evening) and April 21 (morning). Zoom links will continue to be published in the Friday church e-mails. We are looking forward to participating in the annual Birthday Offering in May. This year’s recipients of that offering are Garden Gate Ranch, Inc. (Des Moines, Iowa), Memorial Drive Ministries, Inc. (Stone Mountain, Georgia) and Nkhoma Mission Hospital (Nkhoma, Malawi).

New officers Laurell Brown, Co-Mod- erator, and Linette Harwell, Secretary, will join the PW Board and be installed in May. And pre-orders will be taken in May for the 2021-22 Horizons Bible study books
