Collecting Jan. 8 – Feb. 5
Each year during Souper Bowl of Caring, we compete alongside other churches to see who can collect the most donations, which are then given to local organizations that help fight hunger in our area. This year, our non-perishable food donations are going to Helping Hands of Georgetown, while our monetary donations are going to The Caring Place.
Food item donations can be made on Sunday mornings outside the Narthex / Lobby before worship or in the Souper Bowl of Caring cart outside the church office during office hours.
Monetary donations can be made on Sunday mornings or via the church website HERE, and designate “Souper Bowl of Caring” as your one-time gift! Thank you for helping us “compete” to do some real good in our community. We know the real prize is in our giving.
Since 1990, more than $170 million has been donated to local food charities across all 50 states, with some 300,000 groups participating. Every dollar donated to Souper Bowl of Caring creates about $20 for food charities.
