First Presbyterian practices open communion, inviting all who are baptized to participate. The Lord’s Supper is generally observed on the first Sunday of the month. A class to prepare children for communion is taught once a year in early August. Please contact the church office if you would like your child to attend this class.

We baptize both adults and children. Active members in a Christian church may present a child for baptism. Parents and the congregation share in the nurture of the child in order that he or she may make their own profession of faith in Jesus Christ.
